With all the rich and wonderful holiday food that is about to take over for the next few months we had the brilliant idea of coming up with some kind of DETOX POP to help keep us all from going over the edge. We researched some green smoothie recipes and did some serious experimenting today.
These recipes feature vitamin packed ingredients like Kale and Spinach, Celery and Parsley, Ginger and Lemon, Strawberries and Mint, Apples and Pears.
Out of four test recipes we had three winners! Even our 5-year old intern gave a double thumbs up to a pop with spinach as a key ingredient.
The first one to be named is Spinach Berry Mint (the 5yr old's fave).
